Bayesian Models of Cognition and Language: Part 2 [July 9, 2020]


In this second tutorial on Bayesian Models, Dr Jean-Luc Schwartz builds on first course by exploring how such models can be used to study the cognitive processes underlying language. He presents COSMOS (Communication Objects using Sensori-Motor Operations), a mathematical model that uses Bayesian modeling to formalize sensory-motor theories of  communication.
